A whole-body, trauma-informed nervous system restoration pathway for women dealing with burnout, perimenopausal overwhelm, and chronic stress.

Acknowledgement of Country
“Mind Body Coherence sits on Dharawal Country. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging — and to the wisdom of connection to land and body that long predates any of the work we do here”

I created this work because as a practitioner, I do not want to be treating or suppressing merely the symptoms or just focusing on the one system of the body as the problem. You are more than your symptoms and more than your diagnosis. You are a human being living in this world, that has many systems all interacting together with the environment. With the nervous system and the brain as the conductor of those systems, that is where the research led me.

- Carl Jung

From Survival mode to ease

Deep within the links to the brain and the nervous system are the neurological signals keeping your nervous system stuck in survival mode.
These are driven by the accumulation of stress and trauma that has happened in your life causing the deeper perceptual interconnections that you may have noticed is very difficult to unravel yourself without understanding the exact signal your brain needs to come out of safe mode out of burnout, out of anxiety, out of autoimmune flairs, out of overwhelm and hypervigilance and into thriving mode.
And that is what the Mind Body Coherence model is all about.
Client words
“
I was lacking in energy, I had no zest for activities that I normally loved, the thought of socialising exhausted me, and I had begun to withdraw and essentially hibernate. I was anxious about little things and constantly in search of a feeling of safety. I was burnt out and stuck but all the while still ‘getting by’ in daily life.
After one session with Kate though, there has been a significant shift. I feel lighter, I feel better. It wasn’t an overnight sensation or a miracle cure; it’s been more subtle than that. It’s what I would call a ‘quiet change’ that has brought compassion, comfort and nourishment.
And its slowly and gently given me a glimpse of my old self, a re-tune for my body and re-set for my mind. I don’t completely understand ‘the how’ behind this therapy but I definitely feel ‘the good’ of what it does.
I encourage anyone to be curious about the potential of functional neuro therapy, trust in the process even if you don’t completely understand it, and simply give it a go.
From being stuck in a body in survival mode and a mind in overdrive to finding space to settle into the you that is underneath the noise and chaos.
"Your own pace" — and undo the urgency-loop, for burnout recovery.
HOW IT FEELS
You’re high-functioning, capable, and intelligent—but you’re exhausted and no longer willing to endure it.
Your bloodwork comes back "normal," yet your body and symptoms feel anything but and you know there is something deeper, but it feels like a puzzle piece where no one seems to have the missing piece.
You’ve tried talk therapy for years, but the patterns still feel stuck in your body because your symptoms have stayed the same and you still can’t sleep well.
Building capacity from the inside
| Capacity means a stronger immune system and clarity in your thinking.
| Capacity means there is enough room for your system to create energy and vitality to thrive.
| Capacity means your nervous system doesn’t get overwhelmed so there is no need to choose to shut down, fawn, freeze or send signals of pain, anxiety or fatigue to assure safety.
| Capacity means the threat signals are down, the defensiveness is down, so you can hear your heart's inner wisdom.
| Capacity means the nervous system does not need to stay chronically stuck anymore.
That’s why I have created the combination of this work to restore the clear communication between the brain and the nervous system.
A gentle, no-pressure conversation about where you are now, and what your nervous system might be asking for.
Tips for nervous system support that fit into a busy life.
